Scientific theory divorced from practicals will never come alive in a student’s mind. For this reason, starting as early as Grade One, students enter the science lab to learn, question, observe, hypothesize and become curious about the world of science through experiments and demonstrations lining up with each grades’ core curricula.

The state of the art computer lab puts the world at each and every student’s fingertips. With the use of chromebook laptops and Google Classroom, each student starting from Grade Three going upward spends time receiving not only curriculum guided ICT instruction but also real-world technical competencies to give them the cutting edge in an ever changing tech-savy world.

FCS’s nationally recognized “Deep Sea Library” boasts over 10,000 books and is accessed by every student every day. Divided into quadrants by reading level, the library facilitates not only free reading, but also guided reading, guided writing, professional development resources, reading challenges and research project space.

With walls that talk each classroom is uniquely designed set up and artistically designed to be both age and content appropriate for every grade. By capping our class sizes at 40, we ensure spacious, comfortable learning, with excellent light and ventilation.

It’s difficult to pay attention when the stomach is rumbling and the mind doesn’t have the fuel it needs to focus. For this reason, every student receives a hot, well balanced, nutritions lunch every single day. For pre-schoolers specifically, many of whom are still being weighed at Under Five clinics, we also provide Baby, Midi and Reception classes with breakfast every morning.

Happy Teachers make Happy Learners and comfortable, spacious housing is an important part of showing our Teachers how much we value and respect them. Surrounded by luscious greenery with space for personal gardens and other ventures, each teacher has his or her own plot just opposite the main school ground and bordering the primary football pitch. While secured by watchmen, the TC is still very much a part of the community, fostering a sense of welcome and belonging.
