The Mission of Fimpulu Christian School is to create an exceptional learning environment where every child can thrive academically through dedicated teaching and community support.

Mrs. Bethany Colvin has been the Director of Fimpulu Christian School since 2009. She holds degrees in both Government and Spanish Literature from Cornell University as well as a Masters in Christian Counseling from Midwest Seminary. She would tell you, however, that her real education has been derived from the people of Fimpulu, who have loved and taught her for over 18 years. In addition to her leadership at the school, Mrs. Colvin visitors may be surprised to find that she is fluent in iciBemba and can also ukunaya ubwali.

Mr. Mulenga Lubumbe serves as the Head Teacher at Fimpulu Christian School. He rose to the position after demonstrating competency and leadership as a teacher of preschool, primary and secondary classes. He holds Degrees from both Copperbelt University and Kwame Nkrumah University. His integrity and thoughtful approach to teamwork and ingenuity are priceless to the institution. He has been with Fimpulu Christian School for more than eight years now.

Mrs. Lucy Sakuwaha serves as the deputy Head Teacher at Fimpulu Christian School. She is known as being beloved by both students and teachers alike. With a Degree from Rockview University, she is passionate about preparing students for higher education and is a superb role model for every student, especially our young girls. Having spent at least part of her youth in FImpulu, she is glad to once again call Fimpulu home. She has taught with FCS for four years now, and we look forward to many more.

FCS is fortunate to have a very active PTA that works tirelessly to mobilize community support for the school. The PTA holds regular executive meetings and AGMs to discuss issues of quality, vision and parental participation. The School would not be what it is today without such crucial support.

As a Mission Aided Private School, FCS is accountable also to the Board of Directors of its parent ministry, Choshen Farm Zambia. Comprised of Pastoral, Business and thought leaders from Fimpulu, Mansa and Lusaka, the Board of Directors ensures that FCS stays on mission and performs at its highest potential.

Our Student Leaders and Prefects are a vital part of shaping both the community and Culture of Fimpulu Christian School. From giving the teachers important feedback, to challenging their fellow students to work hard and never give up, these students are developing leadership skills for themselves while modeling exemplary citizenship to everyone around them.
