Every teacher is a life-long learner.

Professional Development doesn’t end at graduation.

  • Outsourcing.

As a school, we try hard not to reinvent the wheel and instead learn from those who have mastered different areas of expertise. Workshops, guest lecturers, experienced mentors and retired educators willing to volunteer are all sources of knowledge, wisdom and insight that we are pleased to draw upon.

  • Teachers teach Teachers

Each Teacher comes to FCS with their own passions and areas of expertise. By spreading around the responsibility of professional development 5 days a week, ever teacher has an opportunity at least every term to share a topic that he or she feels particularly confident in, something unique that has worked well, or a word of challenge and encouragement to spur their fellow teachers forward.

  • Monitoring and Evaluation

    Monitor, Evaluate, Adapt.

Monitoring and Evaluation doesn’t have to be nerve wracking for teachers - it provides vital information as to strengths and weaknesses of curriculum, delivery and student receptivity. We use formal and informal monitoring to help coach every teacher and every student to achieve their maximum potential.
