Strategic Poverty Alleviation
A student will never be able to focus on academics if his or her basic needs are not being met at home. Orphans and other vulnerable children are identified for culturally appropriate interventions whenever possible. Sometimes, even a little support can go a long way in helping a little child know that it will all be ok.

Community Health
While the Rural Health Center nearest FCS does its best with limited supplies and staffing, many burns, wounds and other injuries require long-term, whole-health, integrative approaches to promote lasting healing. When the higher-ups have done there best but medical needs persist, we provide a safety net for our community. No one should die for lack of basic medical care.

A Culture of Celebration
Many children come from homes where one or both parents never reached secondary school. Parental support and encouragement is so essential that we create programs to show parents just what their kids can do and how incredibly talented they are. Our hope is that a burgeoning sense of pride and achievement will prompt the parents to support their children to go higher and higher.
